My boss does some weird things.
My boss isn’t really all that bad. (I work as a buss boy in a diner.) Although, some of the things she makes us do is really messed up. We normally have flowers in the windows, and there is this one that is brown, dead, and falling apart. One day when we were closing she told me to go get the plant, so I did. I thought she was going to tell me to throw it away, which I was ready to do. Instead of throwing it away she told me to “water it good” and put it back. When she told me this I tried not to laugh, but of course, couldn’t help myself when she walked away.
Another day, our AC was knocked out by lightning. It was about 85, really friggen hot if your running around. She gets us to set some fans up in the dining room, and close the main doors. She wanted the air to circulate. But outside it was about 20 degrees cooler then inside. With the doors open it was starting to cool down. But we had to close them because she though moving warm air around a closed area would make it cooler.
I honestly wish she would tell me her logic. Shes snappy most of the times, but its understandable. And when your off the clock she can be really nice.
