You guys are pussies. I feel for the dish washers but I work at a catering company and not only do I have to do the dishes I also have to prepare the food (dust chicken for broasting, cut potatoes into both fries and broasted potatoes, cut cabbage, make cole slaw, prepare ribs, also cut debone and bread various fish.) and work the counter and phones. Mind you I go in at 6 am most days and I don’t get out until at least 3 pm. 3 PM is a slow day like a Monday where on one of our busy days (Friday,Saturday,Sunday) I usually won’t be able to leave until 10pm or so.
I get paid pretty well so I put up with a lot of shit that gets thrown my way like only getting a 10 minute break all day to eat a small lunch. However I have to put up with the owners lazy ass daughter on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Shes pretty much the stereotypical highschool girl minus the fact that shes 22, shes lazy to the point that she shorts us on food to the point that we’ve had to prep more food at around 2pm which is 8 hours before closing. All day she whines about wanting to go home and she always borrows money from the store to buy gas becuase she fucking wastes her money on god knows what. All of the above I could stomache if it weren’t for her incessant verbal abuse towards other employees (including her manager), and her utter inability to do any simple task correctly. She actually asked me how to clean the wall one day(its a stainless steel cooler door + about 4 feet of stainless steel on either side) while holding a scrubby and cup of soapy water. After proceeding to tell her what to do I walked away and came back to find her text messaging some cunt on her cell phone saying that she cleaned the wall when there blatantly were still huge streaks of flour and bits of cole slaw on the wall.
